Country Saw & Knife has long been a leader in the distribution of thin kerf wood cutting band saw blades for saw mills and pallets worldwide. Our equipment leads the way for high quality precision workmanship.
Our band saw welding department includes six production machines. We use industry-leading IDEAL BAS.052 automatic bandsaw welders. Bandsaw blades for the metal wood, plastic and metal industries are cut, welded to length, and shipped promptly throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. New technology and quality workmanship ensure the highest quality welds in our blades, eliminating downtime due to breakage. We stock all types of bandsaw coil for prompt delivery.
Our knife-grinding services meet the needs of all applications. We use controlled down feeds equipped with flood coolant to maintain consistent temperature. It produces greater accuracy for angles and edges, and minimum removal of material. We can work with both HSS and carbide knives, and stock a large inventory for quicker delivery. Our carbide department is full service fully automated and has two of the finest hammer smiths in the industry. We hold precise tolerances for all cutting applications. We can also customize blades for your specific application.
We offer resharpening services on the majority of bandsaw blades, chain saws, and lawnmower blades. These items can run like new again or even better at the fraction of the price you’d pay for new.
